Every year, approximately 10 medical rehabilitation teams of between 20 and 30 volunteers from all over North America travel to Haiti for between one and two weeks. Each medical team is led by an experienced and trained team leader who organizes logistics, supplies and assignments and ensures the safety and security of the team at all times.

Healing Hands for Haiti welcomes applications from committed health care professionals, including: physicians, nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech/langauge pathologists, orthotists and prosthetists; as well as support volunteers, including: translators, skilled workers, students.
