This week in Haiti :

Camille O'Reilly arrived recently to assist in the transport/ transfer of a spinal cord injured patient returning home to Haiti from Chicago.  Camille will be here for 2 months on behalf of HHH and working at a number of sites and with our partners, including Medishare Project / University of Miami @ Bernard Mews Hospital, Handicap International in the field, visiting Haiti Hospital Appeal in Cap Haitian, and St.Boniface Hospital in Fond des Blanc.

Mike Murphy is a CPO who will be joining us Sept 11 and staying for 2 months to work in the Healing Hands for Haiti International / Handicap International Physical Rehabilitation Center prosthetic and orthotic workshop. We have been building out the upper floor and improving the ground floor lab to help increase visibility and prepare for training, wheelchair provision and additional P&O service, like upper extremity prosthetics.

Our clinic continues to progress as staff and volunteers are working hard to prepare for the official opening slated for later this month.
